Training and Development
A career like no other
Recruitment is one of the fastest, most varied and exciting careers for any graduate. At Robert Walters you will work on a range of strategically important resourcing assignments with some of the world’s most prestigious corporations and have the opportunity to grow your career internationally.
Unlike other graduate schemes from day one you will be treated as a valued employee rather than a graduate. Of course you will have a structured training programme and the facilities of a mentor but you will also have the opportunity to perform a real business role that can make a difference to the bottom line of the business.Career development
Our philosophy is to grow our leaders of tomorrow from within and our graduate scheme is critical in achieving this goal. The fact that many of our senior managers from across the globe started life as recruitment consultants with Robert Walters is testament to the success of this policy.
In order to achieve our goals we place all our employees on a bespoke ongoing structured training programme to provide them with all the necessary skills and knowledge to enable them to excel within their roles to become exceptional consultants.
Training begins on the first day of service which involves mentoring and shadowing and is continuous throughout a consultant's career within Robert Walters. Employees are invited to attend the corporate induction day and recruitment consultancy training within the first week of employment. These courses provide you with the opportunity to network with other new starters as well as develop an understanding of the company and industry as a whole.
In addition to the above, you will receive comprehensive recruitment and technology training in the form of two days off site training. Weekly modular workshops which cover all aspects of the recruitment profession are also provided.
Robert Walters strives to develop our employees by providing continuous best in class training which is delivered by our highly experienced and successful company directors who are able to bring first hand knowledge and experience of the consultancy role.
